Albany Medical Center is seeking a full-time Physician Assistant to join the Orthopedic and Robotic Surgical Services’ perioperative team on our main campus in Albany, NY, with occasional work at the South Clinical Campus. The role includes hands-on exposure to Da Vinci Xi, dv5, and Mako robotics and collaboration with surgeons across several specialties.

The ideal candidate will have a PA degree or NP with RNFA, NY licensure, ACLS/BLS, strong communication, and a commitment to high-quality

Formación

• Completion of an accredited Physician Assistant degree program OR Master’s Degree from an accredited Nurse Practitioner program with RNFA training.
• Licensed and registered as a Physician Assistant or Nurse Practitioner in New York State.
• Ability to master a computerized medical recordkeeping and billing system.
• Strong interpersonal, verbal, and written communication skills; HIPAA compliance.
• ACLS/BLS certification required.

Responsabilidades

• Provide comprehensive perioperative care for surgical patients.
• Assist surgeons during robotic and traditional procedures across multiple specialties.
• Perform first- and second-assist duties in the OR.
• Collaborate with perioperative staff to ensure safe, efficient patient care.
• Participate in ongoing professional development and quality improvement initiatives.
