Albany Medical Center invites applications for a full-time Physician Assistant to support the Perioperative Surgical team. You will work with surgeons across specialties and gain hands-on exposure to robotic technology, including Da Vinci Xi, dv5, and Mako in Orthopedics.

The role offers flexible scheduling options, weekday daytime hours, and the potential for additional shifts. Located at the main campus with some duties at a satellite campus in Albany.

Qualifications

• Graduate-level PA or NP with RNFA training as applicable.
• Licensed and registered as NYS PA or NP.
• Strong communication and patient care skills.

Responsibilities

• Provide comprehensive perioperative care for surgical patients.
• Assist surgeons during diverse procedures, including robotic cases.
• Perform first- and second-assist duties in the OR.
• Document encounters and maintain regulatory compliance.
• Collaborate with teams to ensure safe, high-quality care.
