Job summary

Cushman & Wakefield is seeking a Senior Mechatronics & Robotics Technician to lead technicians in installing and repairing automated packaging and distribution equipment. The role focuses on solving complex problems, mentoring peers, and driving preventative maintenance programs.

You will design solutions, manage projects, and ensure safety while supporting operations. Strong experience with MHE, PLCs, and robotics is required.

Qualifications

• 4+ years of experience with material handling equipment (MHE) such as automated conveyors and controls.
• 4+ years of experience conducting preventative maintenance.
• 4+ years of experience reading blueprints and schematics.
• 2+ years of experience with CMMS.
• 2+ years of experience with PLC programs.
• Experience acting in a team lead capacity that supports, trains, and mentors less experienced technicians.
• Previous vendor management experience.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Project, with the ability to create and manage documents effectively.

Responsibilities

• Lead service technicians in installation and repair of automated packaging and distribution equipment.
• Support Operations Maintenance Team by designing solutions for difficult problems and managing projects.
• Train and mentor service technicians and contract technicians.
• Promote a safe working environment by following all safety procedures.
• Maintain and troubleshoot all conveyor systems; install and troubleshoot relay logic and control components.
