Job summary

Path Robotics seeks a Field Service Technician to install, operate, and maintain advanced robotic welding systems at customer sites across manufacturing environments. You will diagnose issues, perform preventive maintenance, and optimize cell performance while collaborating with engineering teams.

Travel will be extensive (75%+), and you will interface with customers to ensure equipment reliability, safety, and continuous improvement, using hands-on mechanical, electrical, and programming skills.

Qualifications

• Technical training, Trade School certification, Associate degree in Engineering Tech, or equivalent industry experience.
• Hands-on experience in the design, assembly, and troubleshooting of mechanical and electrical systems, preferably in manufacturing equipment.
• Welding experience is desirable, but certifications are not mandatory.
• Fluent in English and Spanish is desirable, but not required
• Familiarity with fabrication or machine shop processes.
• Comfortable with learning and using programming languages.
• Detail-oriented with experience handling small and fragile components.
• Passionate about collaborative work in a dynamic environment.
• Eagerness to learn and grow in the field.

Responsibilities

• Operate and maintain a state-of-the-art multi-robotic welding system.
• Load, monitor, and inspect welded assemblies with precision.
• Accurately manage inventory of parts and completed assemblies.
• Conduct preventive maintenance, troubleshooting, and repairs on automation equipment.
• Interface with customers to optimize equipment efficiency.
• Collaborate with engineering resources to troubleshoot issues promptly.
• Gain expertise in Forge processes and command prompts.
