Job summary

Ocado Group is seeking a Field Service Technician to address complex issues, troubleshoot robotic systems, and provide on-site support at customer sites. You will work with hardware and software teams, read device logs, and ensure safe, efficient operation of automated equipment.

Travel to multiple sites is required; strong communication and problem-solving skills are essential for delivering high-quality service and maintaining customer satisfaction.

Qualifications

• 1 year or less experience in a similar technical role.
• Diploma or Bachelor in Electrical Engineering/Computer Hardware and Software is a plus.
• Strong understanding of electrical systems and robotic technologies.
• Excellent troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
• Effective communication with non-technical users.

Responsibilities

• Address and resolve complex issues escalated by Product Support Specialists.
• Follow escalation matrix to hardware and software teams as needed.
• Troubleshoot robotic machines, including Fanuc Arms, network, hard drives, and electrical boxes.
• Read and interpret device logs to identify and fix problems.
• Travel to different sites to provide on-site support and service.
