TLD Robotics in Des Plaines, IL is seeking an Area Sales Manager to expand our autonomous vehicle solutions with industrial and aviation clients. You will manage key accounts, identify opportunities, and drive revenue growth across North America.

You will travel up to 70% (including international), build strong relationships, and collaborate with a global sales team to deliver innovative solutions. A Bachelor's degree and 5+ years of sales experience are required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree required; technical or business degree preferred.
• Five or more years of relevant sales experience.
• Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite.
• Ability to establish credibility quickly and build strong relationships with key customers.
• Self-starter mindset with the ability to work independently while remaining highly responsive and accessible to customers.
• Ability to work autonomously, reliably, and accurately.
• Mechanical aptitude.
• Willingness and ability to travel overnight up to 70%, including occasional international travel.
• Strong collaboration skills and the ability to thrive in a supportive, team-oriented sales environment.

Responsabilités

• Manage key customer accounts throughout the lifecycle and identify opportunities to expand business.
• Develop understanding of TLD Robotics products to support customers.
• Build and maintain strong customer relationships as a trusted resource.
• Understand competitors and the Ground Support Equipment industry to anticipate needs.
• Participate in national and international sales meetings and share insights with the team.
• Use ERP and internal tools to generate reports, quotations, and analyses.
