Job summary

Beyondsoft is seeking an experienced Robotics Field Engineer to support major clients in Cedar Rapids, IA and Sandston, VA. You will deploy robots, perform data entry and analysis, and coordinate with client teams.

This full-time role offers long-term benefits and competitive compensation. You will conduct risk assessments, train operators, investigate incidents, and ensure safe operations across deployment sites.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or higher in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, IT, or equivalent.
• Experience with Linux command line and basic troubleshooting of software/hardware configurations.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and manage changing business needs; strong time management.

Responsibilities

• Conduct risk assessments and provide recommendations to mitigate hazards.
• Train robotics operators and technicians on safe operating procedures and best practices.
• Investigate incidents and develop corrective actions to prevent recurrence.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate safety in robotics design, development, deployment.
• Service robotics equipment and minimize downtime to maintain operations.
