Job summary

Amazon.com Services LLC in the United States is seeking a Software Engineer to develop embedded software for driving advanced mechatronic systems, spanning motor control, networking, security, sensing, and safety on real-time actuators and system hardware.

You will collaborate with hardware teams to architect complex systems, implement robust solutions, and balance performance with maintainability while testing with automated tests and live validation.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of non-internship professional software development experience.
• 2+ years of non-internship design or architecture (design patterns, reliability and scaling) of new and existing systems experience.
• 3+ years of embedded firmware development experience.
• Bachelor's degree or foreign equivalent in Computer Science, Engineering, Mathematics, or a related field.

Responsibilities

• Develop embedded software for driving sophisticated mechatronic systems.
• Work with motor control, networking, security, sensing, and safety on real-time actuation hardware.
• Contribute to the architecture of these complex systems and collaborate with team members to implement solutions.
• Develop solutions that balance performance and maintainability.
• Collaborate with hardware teams and vendors to enable new computing hardware and functionality.
