Viable Engineering Solutions LLC in Orlando seeks a Robotics Controls Engineer III to own robot programming, device integration, and commissioning across robotic cells. You will work from simulation to startup, gaining deep expertise in robot programming, motion, vision, and PLC integration.

The role requires 5+ years in industrial automation, with at least 3 years programming industrial robots, and strong FANUC experience.

Qualifications

Requires a Bachelor’s degree in a related field or equivalent experience.
5+ years in industrial automation, with at least 3 years programming industrial robots.
Proficiency with FANUC robots via teach pendant; experience with ABB/KUKA/Yaskawa is a plus.
Proficiency with FANUC ROBOGUIDE or similar offline programming & simulation.
Strong understanding of robot frames, motion types, payloads, and singularities.

Responsibilities

Own robot programming and controls for assigned portions of robotic cells from simulation through commissioning.
Collaborate with project team to define sequence, I/O, acceptance criteria, and estimate effort.
Develop, test, and simulate robotic apps in FANUC ROBOGUIDE; validate reach, cycle, collision clearance.
Create/optimize robot programs using teach pendant and offline methods for various tasks.
Integrate and configure vision systems and sensors; perform robot-to-camera calibration.
