Job summary

Geek+ America Inc. seeks a Controls & Deployment Engineer to own both controls work and end-to-end deployment of robotic systems at customer sites.

You will serve as the technical authority on PLC/controls integration for AMR deployments and collaborate with project managers, supply chain, and service teams to drive live deployments. The role involves leading on-site deployment planning, coordinating with stakeholders, conducting hardware inspections, and supporting safety and commissioning

Qualifications

Hands-on industrial controls experience with PLC systems.
Strong field judgment and deployment experience.
Ability to manage on-site deployment with multiple stakeholders.
Excellent communication, both written and verbal.

Responsibilities

Lead on-site implementation planning including scope, budget, schedule, and subcontracting.
Coordinate with internal and external stakeholders to align delivery schedules.
Perform hardware inspections, quality checks and pre-deployment testing.
Prepare environments for SIT, UAT, and performance testing; participate in testing.
Mentor contractor teams on-site and monitor performance and quality.
