Job summary

Amazon.com Services LLC is seeking a Deployment Engineer to lead end-to-end installation, testing, and go-live for large-scale industrial robotics in North America’s fulfillment network. You will coordinate with hardware engineering, TPMs, PMs, and site teams to deliver projects on time and within scope.

The role requires strong automation deployment skills, CAD/PLCs/SCADA familiarity, and a track record of driving operational improvements in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• 5+ years experience troubleshooting robotics systems or similar complex deployments.
• 5+ years experience in deployment project management for large-scale robotics.
• 5+ years experience using project management and supply management tools (BOMs, deployment work instructions, task management).
• Experience reading CAD drawings/models for deployment, maintenance or support.
• Demonstrated ability to work with PLCs, SCADA systems, and network infrastructure.
• Willingness to travel domestically 75% or more of the year.

Responsibilities

• Manage tactical deployment of large-scale industrial automation across North America.
• Own on-site installation, acceptance testing, and go-live delivery.
• Collaborate with hardware engineering, program/product managers, and site teams to convert requirements into deployment docs.
• Improve operational metrics and team processes through automation and optimization.
• Resolve technical problems during deployment, balancing time, quality, and resources.
• Create and improve standard work documents and deployment guidebooks.
• Influence internal and partner teams to meet team goals.
• Develop SME expertise in deployment domains and mentor junior engineers.
