Johnson & Johnson’s MedTech Surgery group seeks an Operations Process Engineer (Capital System) in Santa Clara, CA, onsite. You’ll support manufacturing test, system integration, and quality processes on a capital robotics platform, coordinating with manufacturing, test, quality, and NPI teams to maintain production and compliance.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or a related technical discipline.
• 0-4 years of relevant engineering experience.
• Hands-on experience with engineering testing, system integration, scripting, or technical troubleshooting through academic or professional work.
• Ability to interpret test results and systematically troubleshoot hardware, software, and system-level failures.
• Basic scripting experience, preferably with Python, and the ability to read and debug scripts.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, technical writing, and communication skills.
• Ability to work 100% onsite.

Responsibilities

• Manufacturing Test and System Integration support to ensure uninterrupted operations.
• Test troubleshooting and root cause analysis for hardware, software, and system failures.
• Quality and compliance support through change controls, NCRs, and related activities.
