Job summary

Pentair is seeking an Automation & Robotics Maintenance Specialist for 1st shift in Moorpark, CA. You will install, diagnose, repair, and maintain production and facility equipment, focusing on robotic and automation systems used in injection molding.

You will mentorJunior Techs and apply preventive maintenance to minimize downtime. Qualifications include hands-on experience with Wittmann and Fanuc robotics, strong electrical/mechanical knowledge, PLCs, hydraulics, and reading AutoCAD drawings.

Qualifications

• Hands-on experience maintaining and troubleshooting Wittmann linear robots.
• Experience with Fanuc 6-axis robotic systems in manufacturing.
• Strong knowledge of AC/DC electricity, high-voltage panels, motors, drives.
• Experience with PLCs, automation controls, robotics, hydraulics and pneumatics.
• Background supporting injection molding operations and automated equipment.
• Familiarity with manual/CNC machining, welding, fabrication.
• Ability to read electrical schematics, blueprints, hydraulic/pneumatic diagrams.
• Proven ability to train and mentor technicians; contribute to improvements.

Responsibilities

• Troubleshoot, repair, and maintain Wittmann linear robots and Fanuc 6-axis robotics for injection molding.
• Diagnose and repair electrical, mechanical, hydraulic, pneumatic, PLC, and mechatronic systems.
• Perform preventive, predictive, and corrective maintenance on robotic and automation equipment.
• Troubleshoot AC/DC electrical systems, high-voltage panels, motors, drives, sensors, and controls.
• Use machining, fabrication, and welding to repair or improve equipment.
• Read electrical schematics, mechanical drawings, Hydraulic/Pneumatic diagrams, AutoCAD drawings.
• Train and mentor other maintenance technicians on robotic systems and best practices.
