Job summary

Pentair is seeking an Injection Molding Maintenance Specialist for 1st shift in Moorpark, CA. You will install, inspect, diagnose, repair, and maintain production and facility equipment while applying preventative maintenance processes to minimize downtime.

You will troubleshoot Milacron injection molding machines up to 1,500 tons, work on electrical, hydraulic, pneumatic, and control systems, and read schematics and AutoCAD drawings.

Qualifications

• Experience maintaining and troubleshooting Milacron injection molding machines up to 1,500 tons.
• Strong electrical background including AC/DC, high-voltage panels, motors, drives, and controls.
• Experience with PLCs, automation controls, mechatronics, hydraulics, and pneumatics.
• Hands-on experience with manual/CNC machining or machinist apprenticeship.
• Welding and fabrication experience in manufacturing.
• Read and interpret electrical schematics, blueprints, and AutoCAD drawings.
• Proven ability to train, mentor, and develop technicians and operators.

Responsibilities

• Troubleshoot, diagnose, and repair Milacron injection molding machines and related equipment.
• Perform preventive, predictive, and corrective maintenance on electrical, hydraulic, pneumatic, mechanical, and control systems.
• Read schematics, hydraulic diagrams, and AutoCAD prints to support repairs.
• Conduct root cause analysis and implement corrective actions to improve reliability and uptime.
• Train and mentor maintenance personnel and machine operators on troubleshooting and maintenance best practices.
