Job summary

Pentair is seeking an Automation Maintenance Technician for the Delavan, WI facility. The role focuses on advanced maintenance of injection molding machines, CNC, and automation systems, including robotics and PLC troubleshooting.

You will train junior technicians and collaborate with engineering to improve uptime. The position runs on 1st shift (7:00am - 3:30pm) with potential overtime; compensation is hourly and DOE.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent and 5+ years of additional technical training or job-related experience.
• Technical degree/certification in Automation, Controls, or Electronics preferred.
• Injection Molding experience preferred.
• Knowledge of sensors, motion-control systems, and PLCs.
• Proficiency in electronics, hydraulics, pneumatics, mechanical systems, and computer-controlled systems.
• Ability to diagnose and resolve complex problems in automated systems.

Responsibilities

• Perform preventive or corrective maintenance on robotic systems or components.
• Troubleshoot robotic systems and PLCs to optimize performance.
• Disassemble and reassemble robots or peripheral equipment for repairs.
• Support maintenance and engineering teams to ensure proper installation and operation of automation equipment.
• Maintain spare parts inventory and replenish tools and supplies.
• Maintain records of maintenance activities and ensure safety compliance.
• Assist in training Junior Technicians and respond to maintenance requests.
