Job summary

Accenture is seeking a Robotics Automation Engineer to design, program and deploy robotic systems across manufacturing, warehousing and logistics environments. You will integrate robots with ERP/MES/WMS, safety systems and conveyors, and develop control logic using ROS/ROS 2, Python and C++.

Qualifications

• Minimum 3 years of robotics automation experience.
• Hands-on with at least one industrial robot or cobot (FANUC/ABB/KUKA/UR).
• Understand robotics fundamentals: frames, kinematics, motion, sensors, safety.
• Experience integrating robotics with automation software or processes.
• Ability to read drawings and troubleshoot hardware/software safely.
• Knowledge of ROS/ROS 2, Python or C++ for programming robots.
• Bachelor's degree or equivalent work experience (min 12 years; 6 years if associate).

Responsibilities

• Design, program, configure and deploy industrial robots, cobots, AMRs/AGVs.
• Integrate robots with end effectors, conveyors, safety, vision, PLCs, MES/WMS/ERP.
• Develop robot programs and interfaces using OEM tools, ROS/ROS 2, Python, C++.
• Support cell design, layout validation, safety, tooling specs and selection.
• Use digital twins and simulation for offline programming and testing.
• Support robotics intelligence: perception, localization, SLAM, motion planning.
• Contribute to training/validation workflows with simulation data.
• Integrate fleets with orchestration platforms for task allocation and monitoring.
• Conduct testing: integration, safety, hardware-in-the-loop, production readiness.
