Qualifications

  • A bachelor’s degree in engineering science or technology or 5 years related work experience.
  • Advanced trouble-shooting skills.
  • Experience in a manufacturing environment.
  • Proficient computer skills (Word, Excel, Project, AutoCAD, SolidWorks).
  • Experience with ABB and Fanuc robots; PLC programming (Allen-Bradley).
  • HMI programming (FactoryTalk, Ignition).
  • Machine vision and automation experience.

Responsibilities

  • Design, maintain, and improve all Assembly robotic equipment for safe, efficient operation.
  • Manage all phases of secondary equipment to support new program launches.
  • Improve machine uptime and reduce cycle time in assembly processes.
  • Implement poka-yoke error-proofing systems across the department.
  • Review and adopt new technologies; support continuous improvement projects.
  • Train assembly team members in operation of assembly machines and robotics.
