Job summary

Qualifications

• B.S. degree in engineering required.
• Preferred 3–5 years in assembly manufacturing engineering.
• Experience in Automotive Industry or assembly-related field preferred.
• Must be able to read AutoCAD and communicate with equipment suppliers.
• Familiarity with robotics is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Develop manufacturing processes for new products/programs and prepare quotes.
• Establish production floor layouts promoting lean manufacturing concepts.
• Coordinate launches of new programs and lead assessments of manufacturing effectiveness and quality.
• Mentor entry-level Assembly Manufacturing Engineers and support problem-solving efforts.
• Coordinate new line installations/relocations and oversee vendor coordination.
