Job summary

Magna Exteriors in Michigan is seeking a skilled robotics professional to design, maintain, and optimize assembly robotics equipment on the production floor to ensure safe and efficient operation.

You will support maintenance and engineering activities, including preventative maintenance, troubleshooting, and repair of all equipment, with a focus on reliability and performance. Training on robotic systems will be provided to department personnel.

Responsibilities

• Design, maintain, and continuously improve all Assembly robotic equipment to ensure safe and efficient operation.
• Support maintenance and engineering activities, including preventative maintenance, troubleshooting and repair of all equipment, consistent with departmental expectations and goals
• Provide training and guidance on robotic equipment to all department personnel.
• Ensure all robot programs are backed up and up to date.
• Review and implement new technologies
• Program, modify and maintain vision inspection systems for component detection and assembly poke yoke
• Perform other duties as required.
