Job summary

Accenture is seeking a Robotics Automation Engineer to design, program, and deploy industrial robots and AMRs in manufacturing, warehousing, and logistics environments. The role focuses on safe, reliable, scalable production systems and involves integration with PLCs, vision systems, MES, and ERP, plus simulation-driven validation.

Applicants should have 3+ years in robotics automation, hands-on experience with leading robot ecosystems, and a bachelor’s degree or equivalent.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent; minimum 12 years' work experience, or an associate degree with 6+ years’ experience.
• 3+ years in robotics automation or related fields.
• Hands-on with at least one industrial robot or cobot (FANUC/ABB/KUKA/UR).
• Experience integrating robotics with automation equipment or operational processes.

Responsibilities

• Design, program, configure and deploy industrial robots, cobots, AMRs/AGVs.
• Integrate robots with conveyors, safety systems, vision, PLCs and MES/WMS/ERP."
• Develop robot programs, control logic and interfaces using ROS, Python or C++.
• Perform safety assessments, layout validation and equipment selection with engineers.
