Job summary

Anduril Industries is seeking a Robotics Engineer for Manufacturing Automation to lead the design, integration, and deployment of automated production systems. You will select robots, develop and optimize robot programs, and ensure safe and efficient operation across manufacturing cells.

The role requires 4+ years of hands-on robotics experience in manufacturing, proficiency with FANUC and UR platforms, and strong knowledge of motion planning and EOAT integration.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Robotics, Mechanical, Electrical Eng, CS or related field.
• 4+ years hands-on robotics in a manufacturing environment.
• Proficient in programming/commissioning FANUC and UR robots.
• Experience with robot simulation software (FANUC ROBOGUIDE, UR Virtual Controller, Visual Components).
• Strong knowledge of robot kinematics, dynamics, motion control, and path planning.
• Experience with EOAT selection, design and integration.
• Familiarity with ISO 10218 and RIA safety standards; safety functions (STO, SLS)
• U.S. Person due to access to export controlled information or facilities.

Responsibilities

• Select, design, and integrate robot and cobot applications for manufacturing automation from concept to production.
• Develop, optimize, and debug robot programs including motion planning and vision guidance.
• Specify and integrate EOAT like grippers and sensors.
• Design robot cell layouts, safety enclosures, and infrastructure.
• Implement and verify safety functions per standards.
• Develop simulation models to validate reach, cycle time, and collision checks.
• Configure robots for application-specific software/hardware.
• Set internal standards for robotic system design, safety, and integration.
• Collaborate with controls, mechanical, and production teams for seamless integration.
