Job summary

Anduril Industries seeks a Senior Robotics Engineer to advance automated manufacturing systems across its facilities. You will select, design, and deploy robot and cobot solutions, and mentor peers in programming and integration. Strong background in FANUC/UR robotics, safety, and simulation is essential.

You will collaborate with controls, mechanical, and production teams to ensure seamless integration, develop EOAT solutions, and advance cell layouts with robust safety measures.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree as listed in the requirements.
• 8+ years of hands-on robotics/automation experience in manufacturing.
• Experience programming/commissioning FANUC and UR robots/cobots.
• Proficiency with robot simulation software (FANUC ROBOGUIDE, UR Virtual Controller, Visual Components).
• Strong understanding of robot kinematics, dynamics, motion control, and path planning.

Responsibilities

• Select, design, and integrate robot and cobot applications for manufacturing automation from concept to production.
• Develop and debug robot programs, including motion planning, safety configurations, and vision-based guidance.
• Specify and integrate EOAT components like grippers and sensors.
• Design robot cell layouts and safety enclosures; manage infrastructure.
• Implement safety functions (STO, SLS) per standards; verify with simulations.
• Lead complex multi-robot cells and mentor engineers on programming and integration.
