Job summary

Dover Food Retail in Colonial Heights, VA is seeking an entry level Assembler I to assemble refrigeration cases and sub-assemblies on a second shift onsite. You will read orders, identify parts, and use hand/power tools to build units with fasteners and components.

You’ll rotate through stations and perform basic maintenance as needed. The role emphasizes teamwork, quality, safety, and meeting production targets.

Qualifications

• Previous manufacturing experience is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Read and comprehend an A order and work order instructions.
• Identify parts and their placement on the product line.
• Operate hand or power tools to assemble components.
• Fasten parts with bolts, screws, rivets or fasteners.
• Work at multiple stations to complete units.
• Perform preventive maintenance on equipment and tooling.
