Job summary

Brightpath Associates LLC is seeking an Applications Engineer to translate customer requirements into deployable robotic solutions. You will validate capabilities on real hardware, train customers, and gather field feedback to improve applications across mechanical, controls, software and vision domains.

Responsibilities include driving projects from definition to delivery, collaborating with interdisciplinary teams, and applying CAD, GD&T, and metrology concepts to verify requirements.

Qualifications

• Experience working with interdisciplinary teams and complex systems.
• Strong understanding of sensors and motion systems (encoders, laser range finders, camera optics, load cells).
• Experience delivering products to customers including requirements definition, training, and feedback iteration.
• Experience developing and executing test protocols and documenting results to industry standards.
• Experience with object-oriented programming; proficient with CAD, GD&T and engineering drawings.

Responsibilities

• Translate customer requirements into specifications, objectives, and timelines for projects.
• Coordinate system integration across mechanical, controls, software and vision subsystems.
• Develop and execute test protocols; document results and validate on real hardware.
• Deliver products to customers, provide training, and incorporate field feedback to improve applications.
• Apply CAD, GD&T, engineering drawings and metrology concepts to define and verify requirements.
