Eaton Corporation’s ES AMER ARS division is seeking a Fabrication Technician IV for the 2nd shift at Hodges, SC. The role focuses on operating and optimizing robotic welding systems and ensuring weld quality through path adjustments and tool changes.

The position offers a 3:30 pm–11:30 pm schedule, with a $1 shift premium and eligibility for a variable incentive program. Local candidates within 50 miles are preferred.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent.
• Minimum of 1 year of experience in robotic welding or automated welding environments.
• No immigration sponsorship available for this position.
• Relocation not offered; within 50-mile radius of Hodges, SC.

Responsibilities

• Operate and maintain robotic welding systems (6-axis robots, welding cells).
• Modify robot paths, touch-ups, and offsets to ensure weld quality.
• Perform basic robot programming and troubleshooting.
• Work with maintenance/engineering to resolve automation issues.
• Perform routine inspections and preventative maintenance on machinery.
• Use calipers, gauges, or other measuring devices to ensure engineering standards.
• Follow safety policies and maintain 5S+ in the area.
