Eaton in Hodges, SC is seeking a Fabrication Technician IV - 2nd Shift to operate and optimize robotic welding systems, troubleshoot weld cells, and program robot paths.

The role requires hands-on experience with robotic welding, ABB or similar robots, and a commitment to safety and 5S+. The core hours are 3:30 pm–11:30 pm, Monday to Friday, with a $1 shift premium and eligibility for a variable incentive program.

Competenze

• High School Diploma or GED from an accredited institution.
• Minimum of 1 year of robotic welding or automated welding experience.
• Eaton will not sponsor CPT/OPT/STEM OPT or other visa programs.
• No relocation benefit; 50-mile radius requirement; Active‑Duty Military exempt from location restriction.

Mansioni

• Operate and maintain robotic welding systems (6-axis robots, welding cells).
• Modify robot paths, touch-ups, and offsets to ensure weld quality.
• Perform basic robot programming and troubleshooting.
• Work with maintenance/engineering to resolve automation issues.
• Perform routine inspections and preventative maintenance on machinery (oil, clamps).
• Utilize calipers, gauges, or other measuring devices to ensure engineering standards.
• Comply with environment, health, and safety guidelines and 5S+ in area.
• Follow all safety policies and wear PPE.
