Job summary

Oldcastle Infrastructure in Texas is seeking an Equipment and Machine Operator to join our welding team. The role involves welding, fabrication, and repair of metal parts using MIG welding or robotic systems to meet precise specifications.

The ideal candidate will read blueprints, understand welding symbols, and set up welding equipment per job specifications. A high school diploma or GED and the ability to lift up to 40 lbs are preferred.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED preferred.
• At least 1 year of welding experience preferred.
• Ability to use measuring equipment and read shop drawings.
• Familiar with GMAW welding and welding symbols.

Responsibilities

• Fits and welds product to specification.
• Reads blueprints and welds parts with MIG or robotic equipment.
• Ensures welded parts meet blueprint requirements.
• Assists with material handling, housekeeping and safety tasks.
