Job summary

Allied Steel Buildings, Inc. is seeking a Machine Operator to set up and operate robotic welding systems and automated fabrication equipment for structural steel beams and components in a fast-paced, high‑accuracy environment.

The role requires 2+ years of fabrication/equipment experience, ability to read drawings, and attention to detail. Evening and overtime may be required; safety and team collaboration are essential in daily operations.

Qualifications

• Experience operating fabrication equipment; 2+ years in structural steel fabrication or robotic welding preferred.
• Ability to read blueprints and perform precise measurements.
• Experience with CNC equipment or automated systems is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Operate robotic welding systems and automated fabrication equipment.
• Set up machines, tooling, and programs from drawings and work orders.
• Fabricate structural steel beams and assemblies with proper fit-up and alignment.
• Monitor welds for quality and structural integrity.
• Identify and troubleshoot fabrication issues and support maintenance.
