Job summary

Mobile Track Solutions, L.L.C. is seeking a full-time Welder to join our team. The role involves welding per engineering blueprints and operating robotic welders to assemble mechanical structures with high precision.

Ideal candidates will have experience reading blueprints and performing quality inspections, plus familiarity with Epicor ERP. A high school diploma or GED is required; an AA degree is preferred, and AWS certification is a plus.

Qualifications

Read and interpret blueprints, sketches and specifications.
High school diploma or GED required; an AA degree is preferred.
AWS Welding Certificate is preferred.
Experience with welding in a heavy fabrication environment is desirable.

Responsibilities

Read and understand blueprints, sketches, drawings, manuals, specifications or sample parts.
Weld components and assemblies with precision using manual and robotic welding equipment.
Set weld parameters according to procedures to prevent warping and ensure quality.
Utilize measuring tools (tape, calipers) for accurate part verification.
Prepare parts for production and communicate deviations to the team lead.
Operate the ERP system (Epicor) to manage orders, schedules, and inventory.
Inspect welds and verify critical measurements meet specifications.
Perform routine maintenance and safety checks on welding equipment.
