Offlines CAD-to-path using Robotmaster/MotoSim; multi-axis YRC1000 programming; heavy MIG welding; cell troubleshooting; AWS compliance. Requires 3+ years in robotic welding, blueprint literacy, and willingness to commute within the Duluth, MN region.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of robotic weld cell setup, operation and programming.
• Experience with Yaskawa/Motoman YRC1000 is highly valued.
• Strong blueprint literacy and weld symbols; on-site test possible.
• Ability to review geometry, fixtures, and create weld sequences from scratch.
• Stable work history with good attendance and teamwork.

Responsibilities

• Execute offline CAD-to-Path simulation and proof collision-free programs.
• Optimize welding parameters for full-penetration welds and efficiency.
• Troubleshoot robot motion faults and cell automation issues.
• Verify weld quality and AWS compliance against blueprints and codes.
• Train and mentor cell operators in setup procedures and fixtures.
• Maintain robotic welding equipment and spare parts.
