You will perform offline CAD-to-path simulations, program Yaskawa Motoman YRC1000 cells, execute heavy-gauge MIG welds, and train cell operators within a global manufacturing environment that values people-first culture and stable backlog.

Qualifications

• 3+ years Robotic welding depth: setup, operate and program weld cells (Yaskawa/Motoman YRC1000 highly valued).
• Offline programming fluency with Robotmaster, MotoSim or equivalent CAD-to-path software.

Responsibilities

• Execute Offline CAD-to-Path Simulation: Develop, simulate, and proof collision-free offline programs using Robotmaster or MotoSim for complex weldments.
• Optimize Welding Parameters: Fine-tune robotic travel speeds, torch angles, wire feed rates, weave patterns, and arc voltages for full-penetration welds.
• Troubleshoot Cell Automation: Serve as floor SME to resolve multi-axis motion faults, seam-tracking errors, and hardware comm issues.
• Verify Weld Quality & AWS Compliance: Inspect weldments to ensure conformance to blueprints, AWS codes, and tolerances.
• Train & Mentor Cell Operators: Refine fixture loading sequences and setup procedures; transfer pendant operation knowledge.
• Maintain Robotic Welding Equipment: Oversee maintenance of robotic arms, liners, tips, feeder drives, and anti-spatter stations.
