Job summary

Yaskawa / MotoSim is seeking a Robotic Automation & Weld Programmer to join a global leader in heavy equipment attachments. The role focuses on ground-up offline programming, multi-axis robot cell optimization, and first-article weld validation for high-stress fabrications.

You will drive offline CAD-to-path simulations, tune welding parameters, and mentor operators while ensuring AWS compliance and tight tolerances in a fast-paced, safety‑conscious environment.

Qualifications

• 3+ years in robotic welding setup, operation, and programming.
• Proficiency with offline CAD-to-path software for virtual path generation.
• Heavy-plate MIG welding and weld symbol literacy; on-site weld test.

Responsibilities

• Execute offline CAD-to-path simulation to develop, simulate, and proof programs.
• Optimize robotic welding parameters for full-penetration welds and efficiency.
• Troubleshoot multi-axis robot motion faults and sensor issues on the cell floor.
• Verify weld quality and AWS compliance against blueprints and tolerances.
• Train and mentor cell operators on fixture loading and setup procedures.
• Maintain welding equipment and consumables, including torch and wire feeders.
