Yaskawa seeks an experienced Robotic Automation & Weld Programmer to join the team in the Duluth, MN area. The role focuses on offline CAD-to-path simulations and multi-axis Yaskawa/Motoman programming to support heavy weldments.

You will optimize welding parameters, troubleshoot cell automation, and verify AWS-compliant welds. A stable, long-term position with a global manufacturing leader awaits a hands-on technician.

Formación

• 3+ years robotic weld cell setup, operation, and programming.
• Offline CAD-to-path programming with Robotmaster or MotoSim.
• Heavy-plate MIG welding and weld symbol literacy (pass on-site weld test).
• Fixture and tooling review to optimize weld sequences.

Responsabilidades

• Execute Offline CAD-to-Path Simulation for multi-pass weldments.
• Optimize robotic travel speeds, torch angles, and arc voltages for 100% full-penetration welds.
• Troubleshoot multi-axis robot motion faults and hardware issues on the floor.
• Verify weld quality and AWS compliance against blueprints and tolerances.
• Train and mentor cell operators on fixture loading and setup procedures.
• Maintain robotic welding equipment and consumables schedules.
