Stanford Health Care is seeking a Robotic Surgical Advanced Practice Provider (APP) to join the Robotic Surgery Program. The role supports minimally invasive robotic procedures using the da Vinci system and involves first-assist responsibilities across multiple surgical disciplines.

The PA/NP will work with a surgical team, contribute to protocol development, and uphold patient safety and care standards in a high-volume environment at Stanford Health Care.

Qualifications

• Advanced Practice Provider (NP or PA) with experience in surgical care.
• Proficiency with the da Vinci Surgical System is highly desirable.
• Strong commitment to patient care and safety.
• Excellent communication and teamwork skills.

Responsabilités

• Evaluates and treats patients with acute, chronic complaints and health maintenance concerns related to specialty.
• Obtains complete histories and performs pertinent physical exams with assessment of normal and abnormal findings on new and return patients.
• Performs or requests and evaluates diagnostic studies as indicated upon evaluation of the patient.
• Administers medications according to formulary protocol or supervising physician orders.
• Orders and collects specimens for routine labs and therapeutic procedures.
• Orders physical therapy, occupational therapy, radiology examinations and nursing services.
• Performs designated procedures after demonstrated competency per written procedures.
• Obtains informed consent as indicated.
• Initiates arrangements for hospital admissions and discharges and completes paperwork.
• Enrols patients in investigational studies as approved and orders necessary tests and meds.
