Job summary
The Valley Hospital-Paramus in Paramus, NJ seeks an Advanced Practice Provider to support the surgical team in a team-based care model. You will assist in emergency consultations, perform first assist in OR, and manage preoperative and postoperative care across general and robotic cases.
Qualifications include graduate of an accredited PA/NP program, NCCPA/ANCC/AANP board certification, NJ license, CDS/DEA, and strong clinical judgment. Competitive salary with incentive opportunities.
Qualifications
- Graduate of an accredited Physician Assistant program or NP program.
- Current NCCPA or ANCC/AANP board certification in specialty.
- Valid New Jersey license to practice and CDS/DEA certificates on employment.
- Excellent clinical judgment and communication skills; team player.
Responsibilities
- Assist in prompt consultations from the emergency department and hospital units.
- First assist in the operating room, including robotic and general cases.
- Perform history, physicals, preop and postoperative care.
- Order and interpret labs and imaging; manage medications and discharges.
- Be on call, weekend rotation, and flexible hours as required.
