Beth Israel Lahey Health seeks an Advanced Practice Provider (PA or NP) to join a growing surgical team, supporting robotic-assisted procedures in the operating room and managing hospitalized surgical patients. The role blends operative duties with inpatient clinical management, with Robotic surgery experience preferred but not required.

The APP will cover diverse specialties, contribute to perioperative care, and collaborate with surgeons and multidisciplinary teams.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree; graduate of AMA-approved PA program or accredited NP program.
• MA license (PA or NP) active and unrestricted.
• National certification NCCPA for PAs or NP board cert.
• Massachusetts CSRS and DEA registration, or ability to obtain upon hire.
• Strong clinical judgment; independent practitioner.
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills; teamwork.
• Ability to work independently and prioritize in fast-paced environment.
• English proficiency in speaking and writing.
• Strong problem-solving and conflict resolution skills.
• Maintain strict confidentiality of information.

Responsabilités

• Responds to emergencies following standards of practice and procedures.
• Obtains complete medical history of patients.
• Performs physical examinations; orders tests; interprets results and imaging.
• Places consult orders.
• Formulates diagnoses and treatment plans.
• Prescribes and/or dispenses medications.
• Counsels patients and families as needed.
• Completes discharge documentation.
