Job summary

Intuitive seeks a Specialty Sales Manager to drive adoption of new da Vinci procedures and expand use across surgical specialties in France. Collaborate with Sales, Clinical Sales, Marketing and Market Access to recruit KOLs and expand utilization.

The role requires a Bachelor’s degree, 5+ years in medical device sales, and travel 2–3 days per week. Fluent in French and English; you will train surgeons, influence peers, and develop regional training programs to extend minimally invasive care.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree required
• 5+ years of medical device sales
• Excellent clinical selling skills and ability to quickly build credibility with a highly educated customer base
• Strong clinical knowledge across multiple surgical specialties, especially Colorectal, General Surgery, GYN, Thoracic, Hernia
• Demonstrated ability to influence peers
• Effective communication skills across a broad organization with a variety of focuses
• Fluent in local language & English

Responsibilities

• Identify and develop Key Opinion Leaders (KOLs) for da Vinci procedures.
• Partner with Sales Leadership, Clinical Sales and Marketing to expand adoption.
• Coach, counsel, and train reps on selling to specialists in assigned hospital accounts.
• Expand da Vinci Specialty Procedures Utilization.
• Develop KOLs for surgical specialties including Colorectal, General Surgery, Thoracic, GYN, Hernia.
• Develop existing customers to become case observation sites & Epicenters.
• Conduct strategic market development activities with marketing.
• Implement Consolidation Pathway Methodology for KOLs and related sales activities.
• Elevate area specialty sales competency with regional leadership.
• Manage key initiatives to scale launch of new procedures and products.
• Align with leadership to manage surgeon training resources and trends.
