Job summary

NYU Langone Health in Brooklyn invites a Physician Assistant - Robotic Surgery to join our Sunset Park team. You will provide direct patient care, collaborate with surgeons, and participate in rounds and care transitions within the robotic surgery service.

The role requires NY licensure as a PA, BLS, and a DEA certificate, with at least 1 year of relevant experience. On-site hospital environment with opportunities for professional growth.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's or master's degree from an accredited Physician Assistant program.
• Licensed as a Physician Assistant in the State of New York.
• Basic Life Support Certification through the American Heart Association.
• DEA Certificate.
• At least 1 year of relevant experience.

Responsibilities

• Provide direct patient care per delineated privileges.
• Document encounters, treatments, and follow-up referrals.
• Collaborate with physicians and specialists for complex cases.
• Order medications in consultation with a physician.
• Be on-call during non-working hours.
• Participate in rounds and care transitions.
• Engage in quality improvement initiatives.
