Job summary

Physician Affiliate Group of New York (PAGNY) is adding a Physician Assistant - Surgery to NYC Health + Hospitals/South Brooklyn Health. The PA will provide clinical care in outpatient settings, assist in the operating room with a robotic system, and help develop patient management plans with the attending physician.

Qualifications include graduation from an accredited PA program, NYS registration, and NCCPA certification.

Qualifications

• Graduate from an accredited Physician Assistant education program.
• Current NYS registration as a Physician Assistant.
• Current NCCPA certification.

Responsibilities

• Provide clinical care in outpatient settings including patient examination and interpretation of routine tests.
• Inform supervising physician of changes in patient condition and diagnostic results.
• Surgical assist in the Operating Room with a robotic system; perform inpatient rounds and document progress notes.
• Counsel patients regarding physical and mental health.
• Develop patient management plans with attending physician.

Education
