Albany Medical Center is seeking a full-time Physician Assistant to join our busy Perioperative Surgical team, gaining hands-on exposure to advanced robotic technology such as the DaVinci Xi, dv5, and Mako in Orthopedics robotics.

You will provide comprehensive perioperative care, assist surgeons across multiple specialties, document encounters and operative notes, participate in quality and safety initiatives, and grow professionally within a collaborative, mentoring environment on the main

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited Physician Assistant degree program.
• Master's Degree from an accredited Nurse Practitioner program with RNFA training.
• Must be licensed and actively registered as a Physician Assistant or Nurse Practitioner in New York State.
• ACLS/BLS certification required.

Responsabilités

• Provide comprehensive perioperative care for surgical patients.
• Assist surgeons during a wide range of procedures, including robotic-assisted surgeries.
• Perform first- and second-assist duties in the operating room.
• Document patient encounters, operative notes, and findings accurately.
• Participate in quality improvement and patient safety programs.
• Collaborate with perioperative staff to ensure safe, efficient care.
