Albany Medical Center's Orthopedic and Robotic Surgical Services seeks a full-time Physician Assistant for our bustling Perioperative team. You will work with surgeons and staff, gaining hands-on exposure to robotic tech like Davinci Xi, dv5, and Mako in Orthopedics, while assisting多 a range of specialties.

Qualifications

• Must be licensed and actively registered as a Physician Assistant or Nurse Practitioner in New York State.
• ACLS/BLS certification required.
• Excellent interpersonal, verbal, and written skills.
• Able to master all aspects of the medical recordkeeping and billing system.

Responsibilities

• Provide comprehensive perioperative care for surgical patients.
• Assist surgeons during a wide range of surgical procedures, including robotic-assisted cases in multiple specialties.
• Perform first-assist and second-assist duties in the operating room.
• Collaborate with perioperative nursing staff and surgical teams to ensure safe, efficient care.
• Participate in a collaborative learning environment with mentorship across specialties.
• Maintain proficiency in evolving surgical techniques and perioperative best practices.
