Job summary

Albany Medical Center is seeking a full-time Physician Assistant to join our busy Perioperative Surgical team. You will provide comprehensive perioperative care and assist surgeons across multiple specialties with access to robotic technologies, gaining hands-on experience in advanced robotics such as DaVinci Xi, dv5, and Mako in Orthopedics.

The role offers a mix of daytime hours with potential for four 10-hour shifts or five 8-hour shifts, and opportunities to supplement income through weekend

Qualifications

Graduate of an accredited Physician Assistant degree program.
Master's Degree from an accredited Nurse Practitioner program with RNFA training is required.

Responsibilities

Provide comprehensive perioperative care for surgical patients.
Assist surgeons during a wide range of procedures, including robotic assistance in general surgery, urology, gynecology, thoracic & colorectal, and total joints, sports medicine, foot and ankle, upper extremity in Orthopedics.
