Job summary

Horan Hiring Solutions, LLC is seeking a dedicated Registered Nurse to join our Operating Room team as a Circulator. You will participate in delivering safe perioperative care in a fast-paced surgical suite, coordinating with surgeons and anesthesiologists to help ensure peak patient outcomes.

The ideal candidate holds an NC nursing license, BLS and ACLS within required timeframes, an associate degree, and at least two years’ OR experience, including orthopedic, general, da Vinci, and OB/GYN

Qualifications

• Current NC RN license or compact license with NC endorsement.
• BLS certification within 30 days of hire.
• ACLS certification within 90 days of hire.
• Associate's degree in Nursing required; Bachelor's degree preferred.
• Minimum of 2 years in Surgery and Operating Room Circulating RN roles.
• Experience with orthopedic, general surgery, da Vinci, and OB/GYN procedures is essential.

Responsibilities

• Conduct comprehensive pre-, intra-, and post-operative assessments to ensure patient safety.
• Collaborate with surgical teams, including surgeons and anesthesiologists, to provide optimal patient outcomes.
• Maintain precise and up-to-date documentation for all surgical procedures.
• Support the surgical team by anticipating needs and ensuring a smooth workflow.
• Deliver age-appropriate and procedure-specific nursing care throughout the perioperative process.
