Job summary

Stryker is seeking a Clinical Specialist in Cleveland, OH to support orthopedic surgeries worldwide. You will build clinical and technical expertise across robotic Mako and manual procedures, assisting with pre-operative planning, case preparation, system setup, and real-time workflows to ensure safe outcomes.

You will gain hands-on experience with Mako CT planning, implant sizing, and intraoperative support, while developing proficiency in instrumentation and OR protocols.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree required.
• OR associate degree with 4 years of professional or related experience.
• OR high school diploma with 6 years of professional or related experience.
• Preferred: 1 year of relevant work experience.
• Clinical experience in nursing, physical therapy, surgical technology, athletic training, or related fields.
• Extracurricular involvement such as service or leadership activities.

Responsibilities

• Gain competency in solo case coverage for manual and robotic procedures through hands‑on training.
• Assist surgeons with pre‑operative CT‑based planning, implant sizing, and positioning.
• Support full case preparation, including instrumentation checks and OR readiness.
• Troubleshoot technical issues confidently in the operating room.
• Learn and support workflow for daily account coordination, including inventory management.
• Shadow experienced teammates to understand territory dynamics and surgeon preferences.
• Participate in product demonstrations, cadaver labs, and customer training events.
• Build and maintain strong relationships with surgeons and OR staff.
• Manage administrative tasks related to accounts and case documentation.
• Collaborate with sales partners to ensure seamless execution and patient care.
• Complete required trainings, competencies, and certifications.
• Provide on‑call coverage during evenings, weekends, and holidays.
