Job summary

Stryker is seeking a Clinical Specialist in Youngstown, OH to support orthopedic surgeries with both robotic and manual procedures. You will gain hands-on experience with Mako technology and OR workflows, while building clinical and technical expertise and maintaining patient safety in a fast-paced environment.

The role includes pre-operative planning, case preparation, equipment setup, real-time procedural support, and on-call coverage, requiring strong problem-solving and adaptability.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent with related clinical experience.
• Associate degree plus 4 years of related experience acceptable.
• High school diploma plus 6 years of related experience acceptable.

Responsibilities

• Gain competency in solo case coverage for manual and robotic procedures.
• Assist surgeons with pre-operative CT-based planning and implant sizing.
• Support full case preparation, including instrumentation checks and OR readiness.
• Troubleshoot in the operating room and maintain workflow.
• Build relationships with surgeons, OR staff, and cross-functional partners.
• Provide on-call coverage during evenings, weekends, and holidays.
