Job summary

Special Order Systems Inc. in California is seeking a Field Service Technician I to travel to customer facilities to maintain, repair, and support company products and tablets.

This role can be on-site or roving, providing hands-on technical support and administrative assistance to customers. Responsibilities include setting up tablets, repairing phones, kiosks, video terminals, and other equipment inside correctional facilities, managing user accounts and permissions, coordinating with

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED.
• Experience in corrections environment preferred.
• Experience with Windows OS and Microsoft Office.
• Installation, repair and maintenance of telecom and networking devices encouraged.

Responsibilities

• Travel to facilities to maintain, repair and resolve issues on company products.
• Set up tablets for users and train incarcerated individuals on proper use.
• Repair phones, kiosks, video terminals, WAPs and other equipment in correctional facilities.
• Provide technical support and troubleshooting for tablets and related software.
• Manage inventory and coordinate with dispatchers for ETA and assignments.
• Assist with software updates, user accounts and access permissions.
