Job summary

Qualifications

• 1-3 years of experience in traffic control
• 2,000 in-field hours in traffic control
• Background check including motor vehicle records
• Must pass drug test and meet DOT requirements
• Wear safety PPE (boots with safety toe, hard hat, safety glasses, safety vest)
• Ability to read plans and implement traffic control plans
• Willingness to travel statewide, with possible overnight stays; nights/weekends as required
• Mechanical background preferred

Responsibilities

• Operate company trucks to transport materials/equipment to job sites
• Drive MOT and TMA vehicles to protect workers and work zones
• Place and maintain traffic control devices and signs
• Set up cones, arrow boards, and other safety devices
• Monitor and secure the work zone during shifts
• Load/unload traffic control items at shift start/end
• Follow all safety rules and company policies
