Job summary

HNTB Corporation in Raleigh, NC is seeking a Roadway Project Manager I to join our design team. You will manage transportation engineering projects from initiation through closeout, delivering on scope, schedule, and budget while coordinating with internal and external partners.

This role involves leading a project team on diverse projects—intersections, interchanges, multimodal improvements—and ensuring high quality outcomes for DOTs and municipalities.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering with at least 8 years of relevant experience.
• 2 years of task management or Deputy PM experience.
• North Carolina PE certification preferred (not required).
• Experience managing projects from start-up to closeout.

Responsibilities

• Develop project scope and fee quotations and assist with technical proposals.
• Serve as the primary client liaison and manage the scope, schedule, and budget.
• Lead project teams, coordinate with cross-discipline groups.
• Support business development and pursue strategic opportunities.
