Job summary

Stratus seeks a Roadway Project Manager in Raleigh to lead planning, design, and delivery of transportation projects. You will guide roadway engineers, maintain quality and schedule, and act as the main client liaison for a diverse project portfolio.

You will oversee arterial and highway design, align with design teams, and mentor junior staff while coordinating with stakeholders to meet budgets and timelines. A PE license and 8+ years of roadway experience are required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor of Science Degree in Civil Engineering required.
• Licensed Professional Engineer (PE) is required.
• Minimum 8 years of roadway design experience.

Responsibilities

• Lead planning, design, and delivery of transportation infrastructure projects.
• Manage and produce roadway designs for arterial, highway, and rail-crossing projects.
• Oversee project execution, mentor roadway engineers, ensure quality and schedule adherence.
• Serve as primary client contact and coordinate with project stakeholders.
• Develop design criteria, calculations, and cost estimates; review designs.
