Job summary

RS H is seeking a Senior Project Manager/Highway Discipline Leader to join our Charlotte or Raleigh office. You will lead a roadway/highway design team and manage large-scale traditional design and innovative delivery projects for NCDOT and NC municipal clients.

Responsibilities include developing creative solutions, plan production, specifications, reports, and estimates; client communication; subconsultant oversight; mentoring staff; ensuring on-time, on-budget deliverables; and supporting

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering from an ABET-accredited university.
• 10+ years of roadway design project leadership.
• North Carolina PE registration.
• Experience mentoring multidisciplinary teams.
• Experience with NCDOT and NC municipal projects.
• Proficiency in OpenRoads, MicroStation, or Corridor Modeling.

Responsibilities

• Lead roadway/highway design team and projects.
• Communicate with clients and manage subconsultants.
• Supervise and mentor roadway/highway staff.
• Coordinate with discipline leaders and staff for ongoing communications.
• Perform quality control on deliverables and monitor schedules and budgets.
• Support marketing and business development initiatives.
